sgerson change "technologies" to "participatory media"? 1 Dec 6 2007, 5:14 PM EST by sgerson

sorry, but I think it's confusing to call this "technologies," especially if we're talking about participatory media. would it be too cumbersome to change?

sgerson should we include comments in ratings? 0 Dec 6 2007, 5:12 PM EST by sgerson

the rating for cost on blogs says:

"cost = $, it’s free to start most blogs, but if you eventually want audio and video that will cost more. Also, some blogs hire designers and others eventually have to buy server space."

should we include these kinds of comments ("it's free to start...") in the ratings themselves, or have them as threads below? I didn't include my comments, but I was wondering about this...

sgerson is there a way to see ratings key while looking at chunks? 0 Dec 6 2007, 5:10 PM EST by sgerson

otherwise, users will have to go back and forth between criteria and chunks in order to interpret the ratings. e.g. I'd have no idea what "traffic: 2" means unless I went back to the criteria page (think user experience). could we make a pop-up window or a nav bar or something? Shawna, if you teach me, I'd be glad to do it.
